For all busy moms this pizza sauce is extremely easy to make, it’s tasty and can be canned over winter. It goes with everything: pasta, meat balls, lasagna, any meat sauce and almost every recipe that calls for tomato sauce.
You will need:
2 green or red peppers
1 celery stick
4 cloves garlic
10 medium tomatoes
fresh basil, oregano, black pepper and salt TO TASTE
Wash all the vegetables and place in a pot with simmering water just to cover them with tomatoes ON TOP.
Simmer until the carrots are soft enough to be pierced with a fork.
Cool and peel off tomato skins.
Blend with an immersion blender.
Bring to boil.
Use or can.
