I like to use pine-cones for Christmas decorations because they create a rustic atmosphere AND are the perfect reason to get us going on a pine-cone picking ADVENTURE. It was a long walk this year, the longest the girls ever did. Their frozen little noses and tiredness for missing their nap didn’t stop them from being happy and delighted THE ENTIRE TIME!

What a great outdoor activity for kids of any age!
