Easy cheese pie

I make this ALL THE TIME!

Here’s the recipe:

Heat oven to 350°.

Mix 1 pound ricotta cheese, 3 eggs, 1/2 cups milk, 6 tablespoons sugar or less, 1/4 teaspon salt, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 3 tablespoons cream of wheat. Beat with an immersion blender.

Mix 1.5 cup of finely crushed walnuts (leave some for topping) with 1/4 cup sugar and 3 tablespoons butter. Press the mixture firmly onto pie plate.

Pour cheese mixture into unbaked pie crust.

Sprinkle with finely crushed nuts.

Bake 50 minutes. Let cool. Serve cold.
